REPUBLICAN FOR ASSEMBLY
If our state is to be a great place to live, Nevadans must feel safe in our homes, neighborhoods, and schools. Policies such as sentencing reforms, bail reforms, de-funding the police and restorative justice do not make our community safer. It is time for our legislators to focus on making our communities safe.
As we see alarming rises in the prices of things such as gas, groceries, and monthly rent, economic insecurity is extremely high. The answer to this is not stifling mandates, higher taxes, and regulations on business. We need leadership to bring about a strong and growing economy.
Our state, and particularly Clark County, has been at the bottom of the national rankings. And this is before COVID closures. The status quo is not acceptable. We owe it to our children to do better.
Polls are showing that many voters do not have confidence in our electoral system. Many of these concerns revolve around a lack of oversight to ensure that votes are validly cast. Our legislature used the pandemic to enact permanent changes to our voting system, permanently enacting universal mail in ballots and ballot harvesting. It’s time to come together to create an electoral system that is perceived as fair by both parties.
